Chard Horse Show

We are looking forward to another exciting Chard Show for this year (2009), and hope the weather holds for both of the days.

We are very pleased to be holding The Burghley Dubarry Young Event Horse Qualifying classes again this year , last year we had a very good turnout.

We have some excellent classes again this year. The BYEH qualifier, ex racehorse classes, BSPS show ponies, NPS ridden and inhand, CHAPS, Cherif, Ridden Hunters, Working Hunters & Cobs, Veterans, Side saddle, unaffiliated showing, jumping,gymkhana and a this year a fun dog show for all, so bring your dogs along.

We are always looking for volunteers!

A show as big as Chard relies on the generosity of a large number of volunteers who give up their time to help before, during and after the show.

Corinne Wade - Chairman

We do have some very sad news to announce unfortunately. Our Chairman Corinne Wade passed away on the 6th May 2009. Corinne had been the Chairman for 5 years, and a Committee member for many, many years. Her committment and determination, and her sense of humour has helped make the show what it is today, and we will all miss her very much.
